Dr. & Mrs. C. S. Summers with me, Mary Ann "Sunnie" Summers

Family Mine !

The above picture was taken on the day I was adopted at age four. This day was so interesting. On the way home from the adoption proceedings, my new Mommie took me by a friend of hers and I got my first friend, a Siamese kittie-girl we named Azure because of her beautiful Azure Blue eyes. She lived until I was 21 and was the best friend a child could have ever had.

This is just kind of an explanation of who I am, not to be judged, I am not judgmental nor should I be judged by anyone else. I have never known any single person who did not make mistakes, I am honest about the ones I have made and accept the responsibility of them. If you are interested I thank you for taking the time to look at this little history of me and my life. Please take time to sign the guestbook to let me know that you were here. I welcome you with outstretched arms and open mind.

July 28, 1949, I was born. The first child of an unwed Mother. It is believed that I stayed with my Mother until I was about 10 months old and started walking. At that time I was fairly impossible to hide from prying eyes and was put in the care of a sweet tiny lady by the name of Mrs. Minnick. She was a little bitty loving woman that was engaged by an older couple to care for me. Most of the previous is just kind of an idea of what took place. I was too young to remember details nor do they likely matter at this late date. I became pregnant myself at age 21 and married a man that accepted the challenge of fatherhood and marriage. I did indeed appreciate what he had done to make me an "honest woman". He and I had known each other for some years, dated other people and run with the same basic group of "hippies". We had never dated each other but were casual friends. We had a lot of challenges to overcome and with some we did rather well , the important ones, we failed. I had not sewn all of the wild oats I wanted to and he had a bit of a problem with fact and fiction. I was certainly not blameless. The longer I live and the more I learn about myself, the greater respect I have for the wonderful life I have been granted. I am sensitive to a fault, I have a Dear Aunt Mar that teases me because I cry so easily (she loves me for it too), it is because I care so deeply about all of this life I have been loaned.
At some later date, I will expound on what has happened and where my path has led so far.

The above link is to honor the Mother that gave me up to give me life.
